From an oil change to a hard-to-find electrical fault, we take care of the mechanical work and the electronic setup your vehicle needs.
Modern vehicles often need more than a replacement part. A transmission fluid service may need special filling tools and temperature checks. Rear brakes may need an electronic service mode. We handle these details, along with maintenance resets, module programming and calibration.
For programming and calibration, send us your vehicle’s year, make and model. We’ll confirm what we can do for your particular vehicle before arranging the work.
01
Maintenance & oil changes
A good service starts with knowing your vehicle. We check its maintenance requirements and service history, use the right oil and fluids, and complete the resets that go with the work.
Oil and filter service, spark plugs and other maintenance guided by your vehicle’s requirements, mileage and service history.
Service reminders & oil-life resets
Maintenance-indicator and oil-life resets after the relevant service, using the vehicle’s required procedure or diagnostic equipment where needed.
Fluids, belts & hoses
Checks for wear, leaks and overdue fluid service, with recommendations explained before additional work.
A plan for your vehicle
We help distinguish scheduled maintenance from a fault that needs diagnosis, so resetting a reminder does not take the place of a repair.
02
Brakes & electronic parking brakes
Squealing, vibration or a brake warning light? We check what’s causing it. Our brake work covers the mechanical parts, hydraulic system and electronic procedures your vehicle needs.
Inspection and repair of disc and drum brakes, calipers, hardware and related components to address wear, noise or vibration.
Electronic parking-brake service mode
On vehicles that require it, we use the appropriate service procedure and diagnostic tools to place the rear brakes in maintenance mode and complete the required return-to-service checks.
ABS & hydraulic concerns
Diagnosis of ABS warnings, wheel-speed-sensor concerns and hydraulic faults, plus brake-fluid and bleeding procedures suited to the system.
Checks after the work
We check operation after the repair, including any required electronic initialization or relearn for the work performed.
03
Tires, balancing & alignment
If your car pulls to one side, vibrates or wears its tires unevenly, we’ll look for the cause. We check the tires and wheels along with the steering and suspension.
Seasonal tire and rim changeovers, tire selection and replacement based on the vehicle’s fitment and your driving needs.
Puncture & condition assessment
Assessment of damage, tread wear and repair suitability rather than assuming every puncture can be safely repaired.
Wheel balancing
Investigation of tire- and wheel-related vibration, with balancing where appropriate.
Alignment & wear patterns
Wheel alignment and inspection for worn components that may prevent the vehicle from holding the correct alignment.
04
Advanced diagnostics & electrical
A warning light tells us where to start looking. We read the fault information, compare it with what you’ve noticed and test the system to find out what’s wrong.
Diagnostic scanning, fault-code interpretation and review of live operating data to investigate warning lights, performance concerns and intermittent faults.
Electrical fault tracing
Testing of batteries, starting and charging systems, wiring, connections, power supplies and grounds to help distinguish a component fault from a circuit problem.
Module programming & configuration
A replacement control module may need software and settings matched to your vehicle. We check compatibility first, then carry out the programming or configuration needed for the repair.
Adaptations, relearns & calibrations
Some repairs need a learning or calibration procedure so the electronics recognise the new component or its settings. We carry out the procedure for the systems we service and check the result.
05
Steering, suspension, shocks & struts
A clunk over bumps or a change in how your car handles is worth checking. We inspect the steering and suspension and explain which parts need attention.
Investigation of clunks, looseness, vibration, wandering and changes in ride quality.
Suspension components
Inspection and replacement of worn shocks, struts, joints, links, bushings and other affected components.
Steering systems
Assessment of steering components, leaks and power-assistance concerns, including electrical diagnosis where the system requires it.
Setup after repair
We check whether the repair calls for an alignment, steering-sensor calibration or relearn and confirm the procedure for your vehicle.
06
Engine performance & repair
Hard starting, a rough idle or a loss of power can have several causes. We work through the symptoms, test the relevant systems and explain what we find.
Investigation of rough idle, hesitation, poor starting and check-engine concerns using relevant operating data and component testing.
Ignition & fuel systems
Spark plugs, coils and related ignition components, along with diagnosis of fuel-delivery or injection concerns.
Timing & mechanical repairs
Timing-belt and related component service, and engine repair or replacement where the diagnosis and vehicle condition justify it.
Post-repair procedures
We complete relearns or adaptations when the engine repair calls for them, then check that we’ve addressed the original concern.
07
Transmission fluid, clutch & repair
Transmission fluid service needs the right procedure for your vehicle. Many modern transmissions have no dipstick, so setting the level can require special filling tools and a diagnostic check of the fluid temperature.
We identify the required fluid specification and service procedure for the transmission instead of assuming one fluid or one flushing method suits every vehicle.
Filling equipment & temperature checks
Where specified, we use the appropriate filling tools and diagnostic readings to set the fluid level under the required operating conditions.
Filters, pans & leak concerns
Assessment of serviceable filters, pan or seal requirements and leaks as part of planning the fluid service.
Diagnosis, clutch work & adaptations
We investigate shifting or clutch concerns and explain the repair options. Adaptations or relearns are carried out when the repair requires them; they aren’t a routine step after every fluid change.
08
Air conditioning, heating & cooling
Whether the A/C isn’t cooling or the heater isn’t keeping you warm, we’ll investigate before recommending a repair. We also diagnose coolant leaks and engine overheating.
Assessment of cooling performance, system operation and possible leak or control concerns before deciding on the service needed.
Vehicle-specific A/C service
We identify the refrigerant your vehicle uses and confirm we can service the system with the correct equipment and procedure.
Heating & engine cooling
Diagnosis and repair involving coolant leaks, radiators, water pumps, thermostats and related heating or cooling components.
Controls & follow-up checks
We also investigate electrical controls and complete any required setup or calibration for the components we service.
09
Exhaust & drivetrain
An unfamiliar rattle, rumble or vibration can be hard to place. We inspect the exhaust and related driveline components, find the source and talk through the repair options.
Inspection of exhaust leaks, pipes, hangers and flex sections, with welding or replacement where appropriate.
Sensor-related concerns
Diagnosis of exhaust-related warning lights and associated sensor or electrical faults before recommending replacement parts.
Driveline components
Inspection of joints, bearings, seals and related components when investigating vibration, play or fluid leakage.
Drivetrain fluids
Service of applicable final-drive and other drivetrain fluids using the specified lubricant and procedure for the unit.
Tell us the symptom. We’ll explain the next step.
